cyanotypes on paper, 40x30cm, 2017
Wildfire prints are made from photographs found of forest fires whose causes are not always determined, between arson and spontaneous conflagration. By transfiguration, it is an attempt to extinguish the fire by color, since the flames seem disappear and leave on the image only the white of their light intensity ; the traces of photochemical fluids also appear in the blues as if to extinguish it and refer to the way in which art can come to exorcise catastrophes.
